TICKETS ON SALE FOR THE 10th ANNUAL MAYORS GALA
December 4, 2018 – Stratford, ON – Tickets are on sale for the 10th Annual Mayors Gala presented by BMO Financial Group and benefiting the Stratford Perth Community Foundation (SPCF). The must attend gala affair is set for Saturday, January 19th, 2019 at the Stratford County Club. Hosted by Stratford’s Mayor Dan Mathieson and supported by Mayor Al Strathdee of St. Marys, Mayor Walter McKenzie of West Perth, Mayor Robert Wilhelm of Perth South, Mayor Todd Kasenberg of North Perth and Mayor Rhonda Ehgoetz of Perth East, the event attracts business and community leaders, party-goers and the generosity of sponsors and donors.
Tickets for the 10th Annual Mayors Gala are $125. Guests will enjoy an evening of live music by Strings & Traps, passed and tabled hors d’oeuvres and a fantastic silent auction for bidding. New this year, the Community Foundation will host a private After Party with Pazzo Taverna. The After Party will feature Tim Louis, jazz singer and pianist, dancing and late night antipasti. A shuttle service will be provided to take guests from the Stratford Country Club to Pazzo’s immediately follow the Mayors Gala. Tickets for the After Party are priced at $25 and are only available to Gala attendees, limited quantities available. Mayors Gala 7:00pm to 10:30pm. After Party 10:45pm to 12:30am.
About the Mayors Gala
The inaugural Mayors Gala was held in 2010 to introduce residents from Stratford, St. Marys and across Perth County to the Community Foundation and its vital role in community investment. Named for the support and participation of all the Mayors from across Perth County, Stratford and St. Marys, the Mayors Gala is a celebration of the spirit and the power of philanthropy.
Today, the Mayors Gala has earned the reputation as one of the ‘premiere’ events in Stratford, St. Marys and Perth County’s social calendar. Known for its elegance and free flowing itinerary, the Gala is attended annually by 300 business and community leaders from the local area and also draws attendees from the Toronto, London and Waterloo Region.
An elegant cocktail-type social affair, guests mingle and network with old friends, and new alike, and enjoy gourmet fare. Net proceeds from the Mayors Gala, the Community Foundation’s signature fundraiser, provide vital funds to support the annual operations of the Community Foundation.
