LOCAL WOMAN ESTABLISHES LEGACY FUND FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
December 19, 2017 – Stratford, ON – Many know Stratford native Laura Pogson as a caring individual who gives much of her time, talent and treasure to important causes in our community. The Bed & Breakfast owner (Newhaven on the River Guest House) and retired teacher has taught countless elementary and secondary school students, coached many figure skaters and volunteered for numerous organizations including the Stratford Festival, Art Gallery, Stratford Perth Museum, Avon River Environment Association, Stratford Perth Community Foundation, Stratford Probus Club and the Divorce Care program. Laura is also an active member of the Festival Rotary Club; receiving the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow award close to 10 years ago.
