Autumn. A time for reflection and gratitude.
This year has been nothing like we ever imagined but we have come together to support each other through the many challenges we have faced. At the Community Foundation we are grateful for the generosity and the kindness we have seen from the individuals, families and businesses in each of the communities we serve. We wholeheartedly thank you.

We are committed to keeping our communities safe.
With the health and safety of our donors, sponsors, staff and volunteers in mind, the Annual Mayors Gala presented by BMO Financial Group, has been rescheduled to November 27, 2021. This is a necessary decision, but we are disappointed we will not be seeing you in person in January. The Mayors Gala is our primary annual fundraiser. If you wish to donate as we navigate these uncertain times, you can do so HERE.
Power. Peace. Planet.
On October 19, 2020 the Community Foundations of Canada released their three-part Vital Signs report on gender equality in Canada. Each report corresponds to a theme from the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and Women and Gender Equality Canada’s Gender Results Framework: Power, Peace and Planet. Vital Signs reflects the integration of the economic, social and environmental elements that are key to sustainable development, analyzed through the lens of gender equality.
