LEAH KENNEDY
Grants and Community Impact Coordinator
Leah Kennedy joined the SPCF team in the summer of 2022 as the Grants and Community Impact Coordinator. She served as the Executive Assistant for a non-profit from 2015 to 2021 and continues to be an active volunteer for local Children & Youth programs. Leah kickstarted ‘Raising Littles’, based out of Avon Church in Stratford, to join a community of moms whose goal is to provide support, encouragement, and friendships.
Leah is passionate about environmental sustainability and choosing clothing options to combat ‘fast-fashion’. She and her family try to reuse, repurpose, and thrift 70% of their total wardrobes while respectfully educating others about the benefits in choosing a similar lifestyle.
Leah lives in a multigenerational household in Stratford with her husband, two children, parents, and their dog Riley. This structure has been a tremendously positive experience, especially within the pandemic years. She enjoys an active lifestyle and adventuring throughout Perth County is a favorite weekend activity.
