Heidi Culliton – Executive Director
Heidi Culliton has over 23 years of experience in senior leadership with the charitable sector. She initially joined the Community Foundation as Executive Director from 2012 to 2014, returning to the role in 2018 after serving four years as Vice President, Development and Marketing, at Sunshine Foundation of Canada. Heidi has also served as Executive Director for the MLSE Foundation with Maple Leaf Sports + Entertainment, The Argos Foundation with the Toronto Argonauts Football Club, and Rose Cherry’s Hospice and Respite Home. An active community volunteer, she is a member of the Rotary Club of Stratford, a program volunteer with The Local, and participates with various local committees including the United Way Perth Huron, Rotary Respite House and the Stratford Home and Leisure Show.
Heidi is a graduate of Western University in London. She is also a graduate from the Sports & Event Marketing Program at George Brown College in Toronto.
Heidi loves nature walks, outdoor sports and recreation, traveling, and most of all, quality time with family and close friends. Heidi lives in beautiful Stratford with her husband and family.
Roxy Rae – Marketing and Outreach Manager
Roxy has been an integral part of the Community Foundation for the past 10 years. She has contributed to the organization’s success through her knowledge, skillset, and her ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Roxy is responsible for creating and executing the marketing and communications strategy for the organization. Her role allows to her share, through storytelling, the impact our grants have within our community. Her role also includes project and event management, and supporting the Smart & Caring Community Funds throughout Stratford, St. Marys and Perth County.
As a lifelong learner, Roxy is graduate of Conestoga College’s Digital Media and Photography programs, and currently is enrolled in the Communications and Public Relations certificate program at Western University.
Ellen Balmain – Grants and Community Investment Lead
Ellen Balmain, founder of Balmain Consulting, has over 30 years’ experience as a leader and a consultant and has build a solid reputation for innovation, professionalism, accountability, and success. Ellen has extensive experience researching, writing, and evaluating funding applications, reports, and papers throughout her career across all levels of government, community and private foundations, and United Ways.
Ellen has a Master’s in Public Administration from Western and received her undergrad in Community Development from the University of Waterloo. As a continuous learner, Ellen is always seeking opportunities for growth and development, and she loves a good challenge. Ellen is working with the Foundation on contract part-time.
Diane Flynn – Finance and Administrative Support
Diane Flynn, owner of JLF Virtual Office Solutions, has provided financial and administrative support to the Community Foundation since 2011. Her clients include a range of sectors including small businesses, not for profit and charitable organizations within Huron and Perth Counties.
Diane resides in Perth South with her husband and they have two grown children. They have proudly called Perth County home for 25 years. Diane works with the Foundation two days per week.
